• What is a Hype Card?

  • A Hype Card is an NFC card that, when tapped to any modern UNLOCKED smartphone's NFC reader, automatically opens up the user's Hype Page URL in the device's web browser. No app required.

• Where are Hype Cards available for purchase?

  • Hype cards are available for purchase through the Hype website.

• Which devices are compatible with Hype Card?

  • Hype Card works with any modern smartphone that has an NFC reader. This includes:

    • iPhone: iPhone 7 and newer models are equipped with an NFC reader. However, only iPhone XS and later models can scan NFC tags (like Hype Card) in the background, without the need for an additional app. iPhone 7 through iPhone X will require an NFC reader app to scan the Hype Card.

    • Android: Most Android devices released after 2015 come with a built-in NFC reader.

  • Please note, any device reading a Hype card must FIRST be UNLOCKED.

• How durable is the Hype Card?

  • Hype Cards are designed to be robust and waterproof, and are as reliable as any other card found in a wallet.

• Are Hype Accessories customizable?

  • Hype cards and stickers are not currently customizable beyond the standard black or white color choices offered.

• Can a Hype Card or sticker be change to direct to a different website?

• Is there a limit to how many times my Hype Card can be used?

  • No, there is no limit to the number of times a Hype Card can be used.

• What if a Hype Card gets lost or stolen?
