In this guide you will learn about your Account Settings from start to finish.
Creating Your Page
From the Hype homepage, you can begin by either clicking Sign Up, or by claiming your unique Hype ID. You will then be directed to a page where you can choose your username, enter your email address, and pick your password.
Alternatively, you have the option to sign in with your Google credentials by clicking Sign Up with Google.
Once you've created your account, you can access and manage your Account Settings by selecting the circular icon in the lower left-hand side of the screen and clicking Settings.
Profile and Password
The Profile and Password section of your Account Settings is where you can update and manage your first name, last name and email address. You can also update your password here at anytime.
Brand
In the Brand section, you can update your username (your internal name) and display name (the name that visitors to your Page will see) at any time.
Business Details
In the Business Details section you can manage and update the legal name, support email, and physical address of your business. You can also toggle on and off whether your customers will receive email receipts for subscriptions and renewals. If you have a link to your business's Terms and Conditions, you can add that URL here as well.
Social Media Links
The Social Media Links section is where you can add all of your social media handles and links to appear as button shortcuts at the top of your page. You can change or manage your handles/links here at anytime.
**Note - if the link box contains the word "username" you will want to enter your social media handle (ex: @hypeuser123). If the link box contains the words "Profile URL" you will want to paste the link corresponding to that social media account.
Login Options
The Login Options section is where you will choose how your contacts can log in to your Page.
You can choose to require a contact's phone number or email address (or both) to login; or you can give them the option to login with credentials from their Facebook, Google, Twitter, Github, or LinkedIn accounts.
**Note: Login Options will also be the default Signup Options (when contacts sign up for your Page), however, you can modify Signup Options for individual Pages in Page Settings.
