Formatting your Contacts List
First, you'll want to make sure that your Contacts are organized in a table using your application of choice (Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, Excel, etc).
Your table should look something like this:
Next, you'll want to export and save this table into either a CSV or Excel file type:
Now you're ready to import this table into Hype's CRM.
Importing your Contacts List
First, navigate to the Contacts section of dashboard:
From here you'll see a button that says Import Contacts:
This will prompt the upload window to popup directly from this page:
You can click directly in the gray portion of this window and select your CSV or Excel File to upload.
Once you see your table uploaded in the format you created, click Next.
From here, you'll see the Template Columns are being mapped directly into Hype's CRM. You can click the dropdown arrows to select the desired column headers, and when everything looks correct, click Next.
You should now see a finalized table showing the Contacts you input. This will reflect exactly what is shown in Hype's CRM. If you're happy with the display of your Contacts, you can click Import.
You should now see all of your Contacts stored in Hype's CRM that you can interact with and update as you see fit.
*Note: Each of the contacts you import will receive a notification that they have been added to your email/text list, and will be given the option to opt out.
The message looks like this:
**Note: Contact Import is currently only available on Desktop and Tablet version - not yet available on Mobile. Large files (CSVs with greater than ~ 2,000 rows) may take considerable time to process.
