If you received your Hype card but are struggling to get it to work with your device, here are some troubleshooting steps and information to help get you started.
What is NFC Technology?
NFC, or Near Field Communication, is a cutting-edge technology that revolutionizes the way we connect and interact with digital content. It's a wireless communication method that enables data exchange between devices with a simple touch or close proximity, making it incredibly convenient and efficient.
Our NFC business card, the Hype card, leverages this technology to seamlessly bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds. When someone taps their NFC-enabled device on the Hype card, it instantly connects them to your Hype page.
This means potential clients, partners, or contacts can effortlessly access your most up-to-date information, explore your portfolio, or engage with your content. It's like handing out a digital handshake, ensuring that you make a lasting impression, and stay connected in the modern business landscape.
How to tap your card
Tapping your Hype card is incredibly fast and easy, and differs only slightly depending on the type of device being used and the type of Hype card being used.
The Holographic Hype card - You can tap the Holographic Hype card anywhere (the front or back of the card) and the device being used should respond to the NFC chip.
The Stainless Steel Hype card - Because this card is heavy and made of metal, the NFC chip is accessible only through the backside of the card. You'll need to flip it over to tap it.
For iPhone users - iPhones have an NFC sensor in the top-back of the iPhone near the back-facing camera, which is the best place to tap your Hype card on the iPhone. You may also tap your Hype card near the front-facing camera.
For Android users - Android phones have an NFC sensor in the middle of the phone near the back. You can tap your Hype card in this spot on an Android to trigger the sensor.
Once you tap your Hype card, you should see a notification like the one below pop up on the device being tapped. Once opened, this will lead the user directly to your Hype page, which is pre-programmed into the Hype card.
