If you'd like to collect additional information from your audience, such as their address or social handles, Custom Fields was made for you! You can incorporate custom fields within your Hype page(s), popups, subscriptions, passes, and donation boxes.
Some pre-set custom fields provided are: address, birthday, first name, gender, last name, and phone number. Don't see the information you're looking for? You can create a new property!
Adding Custom Fields to Hype Site
To add a Custom Field, navigate to your Site tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard. You can begin creating a Custom Field either through an existing or new page. To create a new page, click +New page.
Select the "Sign-up" toggle and you will see an option to Add a custom field.
Once you have selected +Add customer field, you will be prompted to add a Label, Property, Description and whether or not it is a Required field.
If you would like to create a new field, navigate to the Property section, and choose "Create new property...". From here, enter the Property Name, Field Type (short answer, radio, dropdown, etc), or whatever else you need to collect from your audience.
Adding Custom Fields to Subscriptions, Passes and Tip Jars
Go to the Products tab on the left-hand side of your Hype Dashboard. From here, select the Product you would like to add your Custom Field to.
Whether you are adding your custom field to an existing Product or creating a new one, scroll past Pitch, Pricing, and Benefits until you reach Fields. Then follow the same instructions from above to add your Custom Fields!
