Installing the WordPress Plugin

Before installing the WordPress Plugin...

Make sure that you have a URL saved in your account's settings. In order to do so, navigate to Website by clicking the icon in the navbar located on the left side. Head over to the Configuration portion of Website. This link will also take you there: https://dashboard.hype.co/website/configuration

Update your domains as needed.

 

 

There are two ways of installing the Hype plugin on your WordPress site: Express and Manual.

 

Option A: Express Installation

 

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins ► Add New.

  2. Search for "Hype." Select the plugin created by Hype, and click the Install Now button.

  3. Once the WordPress plugin is installed, click the Activate button and open the Hype plugin pane.

  4. Connect the plugin using your Hype Account ID and API Key. You can find these credentials by navigating in the Hype Dashboard to Apps and clicking on the settings button in the bottom right corner of the WordPress app card.

 

Option B: Manual Installation

  1. Click here to download the latest version of the Hype WordPress plugin.

  2. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Plugins ► Add New.

  3. Click the Upload Plugin button at the top of the screen and select the Hype plugin you just downloaded.

  4. Once the WordPress plugin is installed, click the Activate button and open the Hype plugin pane.

  5. Connect the WordPress plugin using your Hype Account ID and API Key. You can find these credentials by navigating in the Hype Dashboard to Apps, opening the WordPress card, and clicking the bottom right button.
