With the Plugin tab, you can elevate your website experience by integrating features from Hype. One of the standout features is the ability to add Popups. When this feature is enabled, Popups powered by Hype can be seamlessly incorporated into your website.
These popups offer you versatile control over the user experience. You can customize when they appear and dictate their frequency, serving as an effective tool for introducing paywalls or encouraging visitors to sign up for newsletters and updates.
*Note: You will need to have your Hype Plugin add-on enabled to see this tab!
Creating a Popup
You can view your Popups at any time directly through your Plugin tab. To create a new Popup, select +New popup and select where you would like a Signup or Payment popup.
- The Signup option displays on your website to drive users to become a subscriber to your platform.
- The Payment option is where users can sign up for a subscription. Much like the signup popup, this will also popup on your website for users who have not subscribed, however, users can also purchase any of the products you have here.

Once you've created your new Signup or Payment Popup, you will want to title your popup and set the Triggers.
Your Automatic Triggers give you the ability to set when and how users view your popups when accessing your website and/or articles.
You can have the pop-up display after a set number of pageviews, show after a delayed amount of time on your website, reset counters and much more.
Pageview Conditions
To tailor the popup experience for your diverse user groups, you can utilize the Pageview Conditions feature. This feature lets you determine precisely which users encounter your popups, allowing for a more personalized user journey. Moreover, these conditions can be integrated into your website settings to manage how page restrictions are presented to various users.
Upon selecting Pageview Conditions, you will see the available parameters for popup display.
In the example below, we've configured the popup to display exclusively for users with active ad blockers:
The following is a full list of the conditions available to set:
