Updating Product Pricing

If the product is a one-time purchase item:

To update a product's price through a web browser:

  1. Navigate to the Products page.

  2. Select the product being updated.

  3. Enter the new cost for the product.

  4. Hit the "Save" button in the upper right corner.

If the product is a subscription (with active subscribers):

The price for any subscription with active subscribers can not be changed.

A new product will need to be created, and subscribers will need to subscribe to the new product.

To Begin:

  1. Create a new product.

  2. Direct all new subscribers to the new product at the updated price.

  3. If current subscribers are not grandfathered in at their original subscription price, they will need to be transitioned to the new product. They will NOT be able to subscribe to the new product while the old subscription is still active.

To transition subscribers to a new product:

  1. From the Contacts page,

  2. Send a blast informing the subscribers that the product to which they are currently subscribed will no longer be available, and they will need to subscribe to the new product at the new price in order to continue their access. Be sure to place a link to the new product in the blast.

  3. Subscribers can be individually, or bulk unsubscribed in the Contact's section.

  4. If all customers were unsubscribed at once, send an email immediately prompting them to subscribe to the new product in order to continue product access.

  5. If customers were granted access until the end of their billing cycle, please use your email provider to set up scheduled blasts prompting customers to resubscribe as the billing periods lapse.
