Creating Custom Fields and Tip Jars

Adding Custom Fields to a Hype Site Through A Browser

To add a Custom Field to a Hype site:

1. Navigate to the Site tab on the left-hand side of the dashboard.

2. Click the pencil button to edit within the Signup block.

3. Scroll down to Custom field, and click the “+ Add Custom Field” button.

4. Add a label for the field, this is required to save the new field.

5. Select the property type from the Property field (ex. Address, Name, Birthday etc.) OR, choose “Create New Property”.

6. IF creating a New Property, fill out the pop up menu with the name, and select the property type from short answer, boolean, number, date, or URL. Click “Create Property” to save the new property information.

7. If desired, fill in a description and mark if this new field is required.

8. Click the “Done” button at the bottom to add the custom field to the Hype site.

Adding Custom Fields, and Tip Jars On The iOS App

To add a custom field to a subscription, pass or tip jar:

1. Go to the Products tab on the left-hand side of the Hype Dashboard.

2. From here, select the Product having a Custom Field added.

3. Scroll down, (past Pitch, Pricing, and Benefits)

4. Under “Fields” click the pencil button to edit.

5. Scroll down to Custom field, and click the “+ Add Custom Field” button.

6. Add a label for the field, this is required to save the new field.

7. Select the property type from the Property field (ex. Address, Name, Birthday etc.) OR, choose “Create New Property”.

8. IF creating a New Property, fill out the pop up menu with the name, and select the property type from short answer, boolean, number, date, or URL. Click “Create Property” to save the new property information.

9. If desired, fill in a description and mark if this new field is required.

10. Click the “Done” button at the bottom to add the custom field to the Hype site.
