How to Send Magic Links and Trouble Shoot User Confirmation Emails

Magic Links must be sent through a browser and cannot be sent through the iOS app.

Sending Magic Links

1. Navigate to the Contacts section of the Hype dashboard by clicking the Contacts icon on the navigation bar located on the left.

2. Find the user by searching for them in the Contacts table.

3. Click the user within the Contacts table.

4. Once in the user profile, click the vertical three dots located next to their name in the header.

5. From the dropdown menu, select the ”Send magic link” option. Upon selection, a success flag will appear alerting that the link has been sent!

More Trouble Shooting

1. If a user reports not receiving a confirmation email, we first recommend having them check their junk folder for an email from an address ending in @hype.co.

2. If the user's email is filtered by a firewall or security service, "hype.co" may have to be whitelisted.
