Sending Message Blasts

Before any SMS blasts can be sent, all Hype accounts must first have a randomly assigned phone number. Please read more about this here.

• Please Note: SMS Blasts can only be sent to US and Canadian phone numbers.

Message blasts are currently only available through the iOS app.

Sending a Message Blast Through The iOS App

To compose a Blast:

1. Navigate to the message center by clicking the message button in the lower right corner of the bottom bar menu.

2. Click on “Blasts” under Messages.

3. Click on the edit icon in the upper right corner.

4. The message will default to being sent to everyone, click on “Everyone” in the “To:” section to change and edit who will receive the message or blast.

5. Once the recipients are set, click on “Compose Message” to type out the message.

6. Once the message is complete, hit the arrow send button to send the blast.

Please note, scheduled messages are not available and a message will send as soon as the “Send” button is clicked.
